Nesnelerin İnterneti Tabanlı Akıllı Park Sistemleri İncelemesi

Year 2020, Issue: 20, 360 - 366, 31.12.2020
https://doi.org/10.31590/ejosat.792594

Abstract

IoT-Based Smart Parking Systems Review

Year 2020, Issue: 20, 360 - 366, 31.12.2020

Abstract

The increase of the number of vehicles result insufficient parking spaces and traffic congestions in the daily life. For this reason, we need asisstive smart parking systems. So drivers can save time and fuel and avoid traffic congestions. Also, with dynamic pricing of parking, parking areas will be used efficiently. Thus, it reduces the traffic in densely populated areas. With the help of the internet of things (IoT), achieveing intelligent parking systems becomes easier. Internet of Things is a promising emerging technology that can play a crucial role in most aspects of our lives. Thus, many applications of IoT, which range from simple smart gadgets to smart cities, agriculture, industry, health or even smart government systems can be implemented using IoT concepts. Within the smart cities, the status of traffic and parking lots are measured using sensors and trafic intensity maps are created to inform drivers. In this paper smart parking systems are surveyed exploring the different models, paradigms and technologies and showing related examples.
