INVESTIGATION OF THE CAUSALITY RELATIONSHIP OF FACTORS AFFECTING THE UNIVERSITY STUDENT INFORMATION SYSTEM SATISFACTION

Year 2020, Volume: 9 Issue: 18, 195 - 207, 04.01.2021

Abstract

The aim of this study is to evaluate the service of “Gümüşhane University Student Automation Information System (OBS) for the students. During the evaluation process, possible relationships between the factors affecting the “System Satisfaction” perceived by university students were investigated. In this context, a “System Satisfaction” model based on “Usability Analysis of Web Based Automation System” scale is proposed. At the end of the study, the real causality of the relationships affecting the “System Satisfaction” of the students are tested and interpreted. In this context, data was collected from Gümüşhane University students by using survey method. The sample size was determined by taking the easily sampling method into consideration. As a result, 401 questionnaires were entered into the system and a sample was created. Collected data; Factor analysis was tested by descriptive statistical analysis. In addition, the real causality of the models was evaluated by testing alternative models with “Structural Equation Modelling”, comparing model fit indices and testing hypotheses. As a result of the analysis of the proposed model, it has been determined that the learning ability of the system, the design of the system and the controllability feature of the system are significantly effective on the satisfaction of the users.

ÜNİVERSİTE ÖĞRENCİ BİLGİ SİSTEMİ MEMNUNİYET ÖZELLİĞİNE ETKİ EDEN FAKTÖRLERİN NEDENSELLİK İLİŞKİLERİNİN İNCELENMESİ

Year 2020, Volume: 9 Issue: 18, 195 - 207, 04.01.2021
