METAVERSE: META MEDYA KAVRAMI ÜZERİNDEN SÜRÜKLEYİCİ GAZETETİCİLİK ÜZERİNE BİR İNCELEME

Abstract

Metaverse refers to a vast and interactive digital universe created by the integration of virtual and augmented reality technologies, while Meta Media means sharing communication in multiple environments and interactively. These concepts give rise to immersive journalism, making the communication experience more interactive, participatory and emotional.
Immersive journalism aims to immerse audiences in the events rather than simply relaying them to them. Methods such as virtual reality interviews, augmented reality stories and 360-degree video reports expand the boundaries of journalism, allowing users to gain a deeper understanding of events. This new reporting experience increases user engagement and interaction. The Metaverse and Meta Media give users the chance to participate more closely in events, allowing them to personalize content and even create their own stories. However, in this new era, issues of ethics and credibility also come to the fore. The accuracy of virtual reality and augmented reality content, privacy issues and the credibility of the content are important elements that news organizations need to consider. The Metaverse, Meta Media and immersive journalism are transforming the world of communication, while at the same time offering new responsibilities and opportunities to news producers. These technologies are an important step in moving traditional journalism towards a more personal, interactive and participatory future.

Abstract

Metaverse, sanal ve artırılmış gerçeklik teknolojilerinin entegrasyonuyla oluşan geniş ve etkileşimli bir dijital evreni ifade ederken, Meta Medya ise iletişimi çoklu ortamlarda ve etkileşimli bir şekilde paylaşma anlamı taşımaktadır. Bu kavramlar, sürükleyici gazeteciliği doğurarak, haberleşme deneyimini daha etkileşimli, katılımcı ve duygusal hale getirmektedir.
Sürükleyici gazetecilik, olayları sadece izleyicilere aktarmak yerine, onları olayın içine çekmeyi amaçlamaktadır. Sanal gerçeklik röportajları, artırılmış gerçeklik hikâyeleri ve 360 derece video raporlar gibi yöntemler, haberciliğin sınırlarını genişleterek kullanıcıların olayları daha derinlemesine anlamalarını sağlamaktadır. Bu yeni habercilik deneyimi, kullanıcı katılımını ve etkileşimini artırmaktadır. Metaverse ve Meta Medya, kullanıcılara olaylara daha yakından katılma şansı verir, içeriklerin kişiselleşmesine olanak tanır ve hatta kendi hikâyelerini oluşturabilmelerine izin vermektedir. Ancak bu yeni dönemde, etik ve güvenilirlik meseleleri de ön plana çıkmaktadır. Sanal gerçeklik ve artırılmış gerçeklik içeriklerinin doğruluğu, gizlilik konuları ve içeriğin güvenilirliği, haber kuruluşlarının dikkate alması gereken önemli unsurlardır. Metaverse ve Meta Medya ile sürükleyici gazetecilik, haberleşme dünyasını baştan sona değiştirirken, aynı zamanda haber üreticilerine yeni sorumluluklar ve fırsatlar sunmaktadır. Bu teknolojiler, geleneksel gazetecilik anlayışını, daha kişisel, etkileşimli ve katılımcı bir geleceğe taşımak adına önemli bir adımdır.
