YENİ İSLAMİ POPÜLİZM VE KALKINMANIN ÇELİŞKİLERİ

Abstract

Müslüman dünyanın birçok bölümünde yeni bir İslami popülizm gelişmektedir. Ortaya çıkışı, küreselleşen kapitalizmin çelişkilerine üretilen popülist cevabın daha evrensel halinin bir parçasıdır. Aynı zamanda soğuk savaş dönemi sosyal çatışmalar ve Müslüman dünyada yarım asırdan fazla bir süredir devam eden toplumsal yapıdaki dönüşümlerin de bir neticesidir. Yeni İslami popülizm, özellikle Müslüman toplumlardaki şehirli orta sınıfın çoğalan hırsı ve artan hayal kırıklıkları, fakir nüfusun ve burjuvazinin nispeten dışlanmış kesimlerinin endişelerinden doğmaktadır. Sınıflar arası bir birlikteliği temsil eden yeni İslami popülizmin hedefi, temelde gittikçe farklılaşsa da homojen ve ezilmekte olduğu kabul edilen ümmete devletin kaynaklarını ve siyasal gücü açmaktır. Bu Endonezya, Türkiye ve Mısır ekseninde tartışılacaktır. Makale son on yıldır İslami siyaset hakkındaki çalışmalara hakim olma eğiliminde olan analizlere bir alternatif oluşturmayı hedeflemektedir. Bunlar, gölge uluslararası ağları kullanarak küresel seküler düzeni tehdit eden radikal düşüncelere temas eden görüşlerle; ılımlı siyaset ile demokratik politikaların uygulanması arasında güçlü bir ilişkinin olduğunu varsayan fakat İslami siyasetin gelişme süreçlerindeki yapısal temelleri göz ardı eden fikirleri de kapsayan analizlerdir.
