Direkt enjeksiyonlu bir dizel motoruna buhar ve farklı yöntemlerle su gönderiminin performans ve NOx emisyonlarına etkilerinin incelenmesi

Abstract

Bu çalışmada, direk enjeksiyonlu bir dizel motorunda buhar ve suyun yanma odasına farklı şekillerde gönderiminin motor performans parametreleri ve NOx emisyonlarına etkisi deneysel olarak incelenmiştir. Su yanma odasına; farklı oranlarda stabilize emülsife yakıt (E10, E15, E20),  20 oC sıcaklıkta emme manifolduna sıvı fazda (S10, S15, S20) enjeksiyonu ve 133 oC sıcaklıkta buhar fazında emme manifolduna farklı oranlarda (B10, B15, B20) püskürtülmesi suretiyle 3 farklı şekilde gönderilmiştir. Buhar, egzoz devresine bağlanan bir eşanjör ile egzoz kayıp ısısından üretilmiştir. Emülsife yakıtların hazırlanmasında, faz ayrışmasını önlemek için surfaktan (yüzey aktif madde) kullanılmıştır. Deneyler tek silindirli, su soğutmalı, direkt enjeksiyonlu bir dizel motorunda tam yük şartlarında gerçekleştirilmiştir. Deneyler sonucunda farklı su gönderme yöntemleriyle elde edilen veriler standart motor verileri ile performans parametreleri ve NOx emisyon değerleri açısından karşılaştırılmıştır. Motorda kullanılan tüm su gönderme yöntemlerinde NOx emisyonlarında standart motor verilerine göre dikkate değer oranda azalmaların meydana geldiği tespit edilmiştir.

Investigation of the effects of steam and different water introduction methods to a direct injection diesel engine on performance and NOx emissions

Abstract

In this study, the effects of steam and different water introduction methods to a direct injection diesel engine on performance and NOx emissions experimentally investigated. Water was introduced combustion chamber, different ratios stabilized emulsified fuels, at 20 oC temperature liquid phase and 133 oC temperature gas phase (water steam) was injected inlet manifold, with three different methods. Water steam was produced from waste energy of exhaust gas stream. For the preparation of emulsified fuels, to stabilize the emulsified fuels, a 2% by mass surfactant mixture was used. The tests were conducted on a single-cylinder water cooled direct injection (DI) diesel engine under full load conditions. As a result of experiments, the data was obtained with different water introduction method, based on the standard engine data were compared in terms of performance parameters and NOx emissions. It was observed that there were remarkable decreases of NOx emissions for all of the water introduction methods compared to the standard engine values.
