Abstract

This study was carried out to determine the effects of supplementation of organic manganese to diets containing different levels calcium on fattening performance, carcass and plasma mineral concentration of Japanese quails. The experiment was carried out to factorial treatment design consisting of four different levels of dietary Ca (0.40, 0.80, 1.60 and 2.40 %) and three different levels of dietary organic manganese (0, 60 and 120 mg/kg). The experiment diets were fed as ad-libitum, lasted for 35 days period. In the experiment, the increase in diet calcium level decreased body weight, body weight gain, feed intake, carcass and plasma phosphorus, zinc and magnesium parameters. Body weight and body weight gain were positively affected and plasma phosphorus level was decreased with addition manganese to the diet. In the experiment, calcium and manganese interactions did affect on body weight, body weight gain and plasma calcium concentration. As a result, it may be say that 0.40 % Ca and 120 mg/kg Mn levels to diets is suitable in growing Japanese quails.

FARKLI SEVİYELERDE KALSİYUM VE ORGANİK MANGANEZ İÇEREN RASYONLARIN BÜYÜYEN JAPON BILDIRCINLARINDA PERFORMANS, KARKAS VE PLAZMA MİNERAL KONSANTRASYONUNA ETKİLERİ

Abstract

Bu çalışma,
farklı seviyelerde kalsiyum içeren rasyonlara organik manganez ilavesinin büyüyen
bıldırcınlarda besi performansı, karkas ve plazma mineral konsantrasyonuna
etkisini belirlemek amacıyla yürütülmüştür. Deneme 4 farklı kalsiyum (% 0.40,
0.80, 1.60 ve 2.40) ve 3 farklı manganez (0, 60 ve 120 mg/kg) seviyesinin
oluşturduğu faktöriyel deneme tertibine göre yürütülmüştür. Deneme rasyonları
bıldırcın civcivlerine 35 gün boyunca ad
libitum
