Öz

The job search process is one of the difficult and important life events that occur due to unemployment and underemployment, and many factors affect the process. Social support is an important resource in the face of difficult life events. The purpose of the research is to determine the relationship between social support and the job search process. The research was conducted with 414 job seekers using convenience sampling method from non-probability sampling methods. In the correlation tests performed, a positive relationship was determined between partner support, family support, friend support, community support, emotional support, material/instrumental support, information support and well-being and job search behavior. It has been determined that there are many variables related to the job search process and that social support is related to these variables.
