DergiPark-DOAJ Integration Completed

Our efforts to increase the international visibility of journals and to facilitate editorial processes are ongoing. In this context, the DOAJ (Directory of Open Access Journals) integration has been successfully completed. The new features added to the system with this integration and the required actions are detailed below.Newly Added FeaturesAutomatic Index Checking and Logo Visibility: The system will automatically check on a daily basis whether the journals within the DergiPark infrastructure are included in DOAJ. If the journal is indexed in DOAJ, the DOAJ logo will automatically appear on its homepage.Streamlined Submission Process: A "Send to DOAJ" button has been added to the Issues or Articles page. Thanks to this button, publications will be transferred to the DOAJ system with a single click.Submission Tracking: A new "Submission Date" column has been added to the listing screen so you can track when the transaction took place after an issue or article is sent to DOAJ.What Editors-in-Chief Need to DoTo use the "direct submission of issues or articles to DOAJ" feature offered by the system, the journal's DOAJ API key must first be registered in DergiPark. Please follow the steps below:Click on the "Journal Management" menu from the journal panel.Access the "DOAJ Key" page from the submenu.Enter the "API key" you obtained from your DOAJ account into the relevant field and save.Note: "Issue or article submissions" to DOAJ cannot be performed through the page unless your DOAJ key is saved in the system. To avoid any disruption in your editorial processes, the API key must be defined in the system as soon as possible. We hope the new integration contributes to your journal's workflows and visibility.Click here to get information about DOAJ criteria. For your questions or support requests, you can contact us via the DergiPark Help Desk.
