Editors may consider publishing a correction if minor errors are identified in the published work that do not affect the findings, interpretations and conclusions. Editors retract/withdraw the manuscript if there are major errors/violations that invalidate the findings and conclusions. Editors should consider issuing a statement of concern if there is a possibility of research or publication misconduct by the authors; if there is evidence that the findings are unreliable and the authors' institutions have not investigated the incident; or if the potential investigation appears unfair or inconclusive.

Plagiarism Action Plan and Journal Measures
The journal respects intellectual property and aims to protect and promote the original work of its authors. Articles with similar content are contrary to the standards of quality, research and innovation. Therefore, all authors submitting work to the journal are expected to adhere to ethical standards and avoid plagiarism in any form. If an author is suspected of similarity in a submitted or published manuscript, the Editor of the journal will first review the manuscript. Subsequently, this work is reviewed by the Editorial Board. The Journal then contacts the author(s) to send clarifications within two weeks. If the journal does not receive any response from the author within the specified period, the journal contacts the author's affiliated university and requests an investigation of the claim.
The Journal will take the following serious measures against published manuscripts found to contain similarity:
1. The journal will immediately contact the university to which the author(s) is affiliated to take definitive action against the author(s) concerned.
2. The journal will remove the PDF copy of the published work from its website and disable all links to the full-text work. The phrase Plagiarized Article will be added to the title of the published article.
3. The journal will deactivate the author account and reject all future submissions from the author for 3 years.
Kadim Akademi (SBD) journal checks for similarity in the studies submitted for review: Pre-checked manuscripts are scanned for similarity using iThenticate or Turnitin software. Authors are informed if self-similarity is detected. If necessary, editors may subject the manuscript to similarity checks at various stages of the review or production process. High similarity rates may result in a manuscript being rejected before or even after acceptance. This is expected to be less than 20%.
