Ethics Committee Approval

Within 2020, within the scope of Ulakbim TR Directory evaluation criteria, the details regarding the ethical committee decision were made. In line with this new regulation, the studies requiring Ethics Committee Permission are listed below. In this context, when you want to submit a study to our journal, you must upload your Ethics Committee document along with your article file. If your study is not in the working group that requires ethics committee permission, you must download and fill out the declaration form indicating this situation via the link provided. In the scientific articles sent to our journal, the recommendations of the ICMJE (International Committee of Medical Journal Editors) and the International Standards for COPE (Committee on Publication Ethics) Editors and Authors should be taken into consideration.

Matters to be Considered According to the Evaluation Criteria:

- Ethics committee approval must be obtained for studies conducted in all branches of science, including social sciences, and for studies on clinical and experimental humans and animals requiring an ethical committee decision, this approval must be specified and documented in the article.
- There should be a statement about the research and publication ethics in the articles.
-In the studies requiring ethics committee permission, information about the permit (name of the board, date and number no) should be included in the method section and also on the first / last page of the article. In case reports, information about the volunteer informed / consent form being signed should be included in the article.
- Compliance with copyright regulations for the used ideas and works of art; For the use of scale, questionnaire and photographs belonging to others, permission must be obtained from the owners.

Research Requiring Ethics Committee Permission

* All kinds of research conducted with qualitative or quantitative approaches that require data collection from participants using survey, interview, focus group work, observation, experiment, interview techniques,
* Use of humans and animals (including material / data) for experimental or other scientific purposes,* Clinical researches on humans,
* Researches on animals,
* Retrospective studies in accordance with the law of protection of personal data.
